Hello, everyone.
Not long to go now then. Five days or so by my reckoning. I know I wrote to you all recently, so this will be short and sweet; just a heads up on what’s happening on June 4th – launch day. Obviously due to the the coronavirus the Covent Garden launch and the bun fight that is the Carlisle launch, won’t be possible this year, so we’re moving things online.
First up, and becuase I’m a good egg, I’m helping my good friend John Ryder launch the first book in his new series, the Georgia-set thriller First Shot. I’ll be interviewing John over on his Facebook page at 1 PM if you want to tune in.
Then, at 7pm, I’ll be doing the official launch of The Curator. The UK Crime Book Club have generously agreed to host this on their Facebook page (link here: UKCBC). If you’re not a member then it’s easy to join, just click the + Join button. There’ll be competitions for some of my swag and the chance to be a named character in the fifth Poe book, The Botanist. Should be a lot of fun.
In the meantime, some of my author pals have been kind enough to record themselves reading snippets from the book. If you head on over to the UKCBC you can see them all, but here’s a teaser: ex-Gladiator/current-author Mark Griffin reading one of his favourite passages: The Curator read 152-153
Enjoy.
And enjoy the book
Mike
