I can’t believe we’re almost here. It seems like an age, but The Curator is out in two weeks (June 4th) and I can’t wait to hear what you all think about it. Early reviews have been extremely positive, which is always nice, but it’s not until it gets into the hands of readers like you that we really know …
My author copies arrived last week and, although I’ve loved all my covers, this is by far my favourite. Take a look, let me know what you think.
And speaking of covers, to tie in visually with the emerging Poe brand, The Puppet Show, is getting a new one. Not sure when this will be available, but I’ll let you know. Looks pretty cool, doesnt it? And it ties in nicely with the series as you can see.
Before I get to where you can purchase The Curator in these strange times, I wanted to make sure you’d all had a chance to read ‘Why Don’t Sheep Shrink?’, the free Poe & Tilly short story that’s up on The Crime Vault. It gets taken down on May 21st and won’t be available again until Cut Short, a short story trilogy released on September 3rd. If you haven’t read it (and it’s only a 5 minute read), here’s the link: Why Don’t Sheep Shrink?
And finally, as promised, here’s a list of booksellers I KNOW are selling The Curator. Of course, it’s entirely possible that bookshops will have opened their doors by June 4th, and this list isn’t exhaustive. I’m sure your local booksellers and bookshops will be stocking copies, but these are the ones that definitely are:
Goldsboro Covent Garden. (Signed and numbered special editions)
Bookends Carlisle and Keswick. (Signed/Dedications on ALL Poe and ALL Fluke books available)
The New Bookshop Cockermouth. (Email shop, contact details in link)
Sam Read Bookseller Grasmere.
And of course, you can buy it direct from my publisher, Little, Brown
That’s all folks. See you on the other side of this. Stay safe.
